A tornado watch has been issued for much of south-central Oklahoma due to a Level 4 moderate storm risk. The National Weather Service alerts various counties, including Atoka, Bryan, Caddo, and more, of potential severe storms, including tornadoes and damaging hail, particularly in southeastern areas like Ardmore and McAlester, where baseball-sized hail is possible. The storm is expected to develop in the OKC metro area and move eastward throughout the evening. Additionally, the KOCO 5 weather team has been recognized for providing accurate forecasts for 14 years.
