Harrisburg International Airport officials state that despite TSA workers working without pay during the government shutdown, they do not anticipate travel disruptions. Scott Miller, the airport spokesman, noted that based on past experiences, they expect minimal impact on flights. He mentioned that TSA workers are committed to their roles and that similar situations in the past, including a 30-day shutdown, did not cause issues. However, officials acknowledged that prolonged closures could be increasingly challenging for the workers and their families.
