Delta Air Lines has joined Disney World’s airport baggage transfer service, becoming the fourth airline partner alongside American Airlines, United Airlines, and Southwest Airlines. The service, operated by BagCheck, allows guests to drop off their luggage at their resort before heading to Orlando International Airport (MCO).
Service Overview:
-
Arrival at MCO: Guests must register between 5-30 days before their flight at enroll.bagcheck.com, providing their Disney Resort and airline confirmation numbers. If registered at least 7 days prior, luggage tags will be mailed; otherwise, luggage will still be delivered directly to the resort after checking in at the airport. For flights arriving after 11 PM, bags can be retrieved at baggage claim or delivered within 4 hours.
- Departure: Guests check in online 24 hours before their flight and pay for baggage via the airline’s app. Luggage must be dropped off at the resort lobby at least 4 hours before departure. Guests should collect bags at the destination airport’s baggage claim.
Luggage assistance is available 24/7, and it’s recommended to check luggage the night before. Signs are posted at resorts to guide guests. The service is available at specific Disney Value Resort hotels, with options for Moderate or Deluxe Resort guests to switch for the final night to use the service.
Key points include that it only applies to domestic flights, boarding passes must be prepared before return, and if flights are canceled, baggage will be redirected automatically. Follow WDW News Today on social media for more updates.
