Deadpool is making a festive return to California Adventure for the 2025 holiday season with “The Story Time with Deadpool Holiday Special.” This seasonal event originated in summer 2024 to promote “Deadpool & Wolverine” and became popular enough to return for the holidays.
The setup remains similar to last year’s, featuring a cozy ambiance with a fireplace, red leather chairs, and a decorated Christmas tree. This year, the tree includes additional gifts, wrapped in heart-patterned Valentine’s Day paper, while the previous “Presented by Disney+” display is no longer present.
The show begins with Deadpool in a custom Santa suit riding a unicorn. He promises a new tale from Santapur but humorously notes management rejected his idea for “The Nutcracker Pool.” Instead, he reads his own version of “This Is the Night Before Christmas,” filled with comedic interjections. Wolverine also joins in, reading parts of the story amid Deadpool’s meta jokes.
Located at Hollywood’s Hyperion Theater, the family-friendly show lasts about 10 minutes, with performances throughout the day. For specific showtimes, visitors should check the Disneyland app.
