Nintendo is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Animal Crossing series with an update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, now available on Switch and Switch 2, bringing it to version 3.0.2. This update includes special commemorative Leaf items, sent to players’ in-game mailboxes after installation.
The update addresses several bugs, such as issues with furniture placement in hotel rooms, multiple DIY crafting, and the behavior of dung beetles and villagers. It also improves gameplay experience with various fixes.
Additionally, Nintendo launched commemorative artwork for the anniversary and added the Animal Crossing GameCube soundtrack to the Nintendo Music mobile app.
For those interested in the DLC, specific bugs in “Animal Crossing: New Horizons: Happy Home Paradise” have also been fixed.
