Reports indicate that Degiorgio got into a confrontation with fellow passengers after his wife complained about someone dancing barefoot. The federal complaint details that Degiorgio’s wife was insulted when she asked the dancer to wear shoes. Surveillance footage shows Degiorgio choking the dancer, who claimed to FBI agents that he felt his throat was being torn and recalled Degiorgio threatening to kill him. Degiorgio declined to answer questions from the FBI without a lawyer, but his wife defended her actions and claimed she never touched the victim. A spokesperson for Degiorgio stated that he reacted to a threat against his wife and would fight the charges.
