Federal authorities have accused Army veteran Travis Decker of killing his three daughters—Paicin, 9, Evelyn, 8, and Olivia, 5—in Washington before disappearing into the wilderness for weeks. His daughters were found dead near Leavenworth, bound and asphyxiated, shortly after Decker failed to return from a visit with his ex-wife. Decker is described as an avid outdoorsman familiar with going “off-grid.” Law enforcement has reported only one sighting of him in the past month.
Decker’s pickup was located near the crime scene, and DNA from the vehicle matched his. He is wanted for first-degree murder and federal charges for fleeing prosecution. Days before the killings, he searched online for information about moving to Canada, indicating possible plans to escape. Authorities have been actively looking for him, issuing warnings against drone use and hitchhiking in the area where he was last seen.
