GMC has unveiled the 2027 Sierra 1500, set to launch later this year, featuring a complete redesign with new V8 engine options and enhanced technology. The Sierra will offer four engine choices: a Turbocharged 2.7-liter inline 4-cylinder, a 3.0-liter Duramax V6, a 5.7-liter V8, and a 6.6-liter V8, all paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The truck’s exterior draws inspiration from the Sierra EV with evolved headlights and a unique front-end design across trims. Inside, it boasts up to three screens, including a 16.3-inch digital infotainment display that reveals a storage compartment, a versatile passenger screen, and a new MultiPro center console designed for workspace functionality.
Key trims include the AT4X, with off-road features like 35-inch tires and unique styling, and the luxurious Denali Ultimate, equipped with advanced screens, a 6.6-liter V8, premium audio, and wood accents. Pricing details are expected later, with the 2026 Sierra starting at around $41,095, suggesting potential increases for the upcoming model. GMC emphasizes technology with articulating displays to set the Sierra apart from competitors like the Silverado 1500.
