Morgan has unveiled the new Supersport 400, a powerful iteration of its Plus Four model, featuring nearly 400 horsepower. This model is a successor to the Plus Six and uses a bonded aluminum structure encased in an ash frame, ensuring a retro aesthetic without compromising modern engineering.
The Supersport 400 is powered by a BMW B58 engine, tuned to deliver 396 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. It boasts lighter 19-inch wheels shod with Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires, enhancing performance.
Inside, the car features a contemporary design with leather and Alcantara upholstery, along with refined white-on-black gauges. The starting price is just over $152,000, but availability in the U.S. remains uncertain due to emissions and tariff issues. Potential buyers are encouraged to explore options in the UK, especially in the striking Horizon Blue color.
