Commuters endured waits of over 20 minutes, with some stranded for nearly two hours at Nostrand Avenue A Station. Frustrated riders, including a public defender and an MTA train driver, expressed concerns about the service’s poor communication and staffing issues, as the MTA struggled to operate at full capacity. Despite the challenges, the MTA had maintained services during the storm, which also contributed to delays. The situation left many commuters aggravated and seeking alternatives.
