The Pima County Sheriff’s Department and the FBI are intensifying their collaborative efforts to locate 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, who has been missing for 13 days. Investigators are sending forensic evidence to a consistent out-of-state lab and have discovered gloves near her residence. DNA not belonging to Nancy or her close contacts has been collected for further analysis.
The FBI is actively seeking tips and information related to the case, particularly regarding potential suspects and vehicles. The public has been asked to submit surveillance footage from the Guthrie area. Despite the increased media interest, no press conferences have been scheduled, as the sheriff’s office is managing communications cautiously.
Nancy was last seen on January 31st and was reported missing when she failed to attend church the following day. She is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes, and she is in frail health without her necessary medications.
A reward of $100,000 is being offered by the FBI for information leading to an arrest, alongside a separate $2,500 reward from 88-CRIME. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact authorities at designated hotlines. For updates, individuals can refer to local news outlets.
