School closures extended across the state, and private schools followed suit. Local officials prepared shelters and urged the public to avoid travel unless necessary. The National Weather Service warned of ongoing hazards, including flash flooding and landslides, with wind gusts expected to exceed 90 mph.
Debris blocked roads, and emergency services remained active to assist in evacuations and transport. Officials advised caution during the storm and provided resources for severe weather preparedness.
