The beloved Paint the Night Electrical Parade is back at Disneyland as part of the 70th anniversary celebrations. Highlights include the updated drum float featuring the anniversary logo and characters like Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, and the new costume for Rosetta.
Other parade units showcase familiar favorites, like Monsters, Inc. with Sulley and Mike, and Cars, led by Lightning McQueen with updated performer outfits. The Little Mermaid features Ariel with design changes to her coral performers and a static King Triton statue.
Toy Story’s segment includes Jessie and a new cowgirl costume, while the Candlelight Dreams unit introduces illuminated crowns for Disney princesses after several years. The Frozen Fractal float remains largely unchanged, showcasing Anna, Elsa, and Olaf.
The parade concludes with Mickey and Friends in the Lighttastic Finale, featuring a performance of "When Can I See You Again?" by Owl City. The parade runs twice nightly on weekends and at 8:30 p.m. on weekdays, except during special events. The parade originally premiered in 2015 and returned this May with various updates.
