The New York Giants are in discussions to hire John Harbaugh as their next head coach, despite the team’s recent struggles with a 4-13 record. The Giants, aiming to make a significant coaching change, used co-owner Steve Tisch’s private jet to fly Harbaugh to New Jersey for meetings with executives and a tour of their practice facility.
While Harbaugh expressed excitement about the team’s potential—particularly regarding quarterback Jackson Dart—he left without finalizing an agreement. Before his meeting with the Giants, Harbaugh was scheduled to interview with the Tennessee Titans, creating uncertainty about his decision.
Harbaugh, who was recently let go by the Ravens after an 18-year tenure that included significant success, showed genuine interest in the Giants, although sources indicated that he wanted to explore all his options. As of now, the Giants remain a strong contender for his signature, with future discussions anticipated.
