Additionally, Romania and Poland have scrambled fighter jets due to the heightened threat from ongoing Russian attacks, which impacted various regions including Kharkiv. Russian authorities claimed their missile strikes targeted military and industrial sites in Ukraine in retaliation for Ukraine’s assaults on Russian territory.
Ukraine reported firing ATACMS missiles towards Russia, which were intercepted, causing some damage but no casualties. This scenario exemplifies the escalating nature of the conflict amid diplomatic efforts for resolution.
