Ukrainian drones attacked two large warehouses belonging to Russian retailer Wildberry, one near Moscow and another in Kotovsk, resulting in nine deaths and over 80 injuries, according to Russian officials. The strikes are part of Ukraine’s ongoing campaign to target Russian military and energy infrastructure, aiming to weaken Moscow’s war effort.
In the Moscow region, an oil depot was hit, causing a fire that led to evacuations of nearby residential areas and a kindergarten. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy confirmed that these long-range attacks targeted logistics facilities crucial for supplying military equipment.
Additionally, a drone crash in Vladimir caused minor damage and no casualties. Ukraine’s military claimed to have targeted Russian military logistics across occupied territories, while Russia reported intercepting 379 Ukrainian drones during the night.
