Their journey has led to delightful discoveries such as Dominican and Caribbean restaurants and historical museums, including the Weeksville Heritage Center, a significant site commemorating one of the earliest free Black communities in America.
With a growing following of 15,700 on social media, the couple’s explorations have resonated with many, inspiring others to delve into the city’s rich diversity. They emphasize the importance of engaging with locals for recommendations and hope to encourage more New Yorkers to venture beyond their usual haunts.
