TennoCon 2026 has concluded, revealing exciting updates for Warframe and Soulframe, developed by Digital Extremes. Highlights included the long-anticipated Tau expansion for Warframe, set to launch in late 2026. This expansion introduces a new galaxy for exploration, featuring new enemy factions and an innovative self-aware Warframe called Brysko, who has a unique combat style and narrative throughout the game.
The Tau expansion will also add a new hub city, Forax, combining open exploration with procedurally generated areas. Players can expect new gameplay mechanics, including Lotus missions and an upcoming Iceblade of Narin story quest, which will present a new ice-themed Warframe and customization options.
Soulframe, still in alpha, showcased a new questline titled Warsongs, focusing on the player’s origins and introducing darker themes, including a pact with dark powers. Player mounts and a new fishing mini-game were also announced, aiming to enhance gameplay and community interaction.
Both games are emphasizing community engagement and storytelling, with ongoing updates promising to enhance the user experience as they evolve.
