Rabbittransit is set to introduce a new payment system called “Rabbit Pay” along with small fare increases effective July 21st. The system consists of a reusable smart card and mobile app aimed at facilitating faster boarding and easier fare payment for passengers. Riders will have options to load their smart cards at ticket machines, on the Rabbittransit website, or through the mobile app. Further details regarding the fare increases have been requested from the company, but a response is still pending.
