A King County judge set bail at $5 million for a 21-year-old Bellevue man arrested in connection with a suspected sex trafficking operation at a Lakemont-area residence. The man was apprehended after Bellevue Police SWAT executed a search warrant, leading to charges including four counts of human trafficking, one count of money laundering, and one count of major organized crime. His attorney claimed he was running a legitimate business.
The investigation began last fall following numerous neighbor complaints about parties and suspicious activities at the rental property, prompting over 100 police responses for various incidents. Investigators found evidence suggesting women were being trafficked through adult content platforms like OnlyFans and Chaturbate. Victims alleged coercion, financial manipulation, and physical abuse, including threats involving firearms.
Police discovered a large cache of evidence during the search, including numerous electronics and financial records. Bellevue police emphasized the need for parental awareness regarding events advertised online, warning of the risks posed to young people. The operation appeared linked to “Nova Talent Management,” which allegedly exploited multiple women across several locations. The investigation is ongoing, with more arrests anticipated as authorities believe additional victims may exist.
