Gemini 3.5 Flash, available immediately, boasts enhanced speed and processing capabilities, making it the default for AI applications. It aims to reduce harmful content generation and improve user interactions.
A redesigned Gemini app will be available from May 19, showcasing a new “neuroexpressive” interface with animations and haptic feedback. Additionally, the Gemini Omni model is set to generate multimedia content from various prompts, expanding creative possibilities beyond just text input.
Google introduced Gemini Spark, an AI agent operating continuously to assist users across Google Workspace and third-party applications. In app development, users will soon be able to create Android apps directly through AI Studio, including features like real-time testing.
The latest iteration of Project Aura smart glasses, developed with Xreal, includes a revamped external computing pack. Google also announced a universal shopping cart for streamlined online purchases and enhanced search functionalities in Gmail, allowing for more intuitive queries.
Further updates to search capabilities will include “information agents” and generative UI features to create interactive content. Google is also extending AI detection tools to identify modified images across its platforms, reinforcing transparency.
Lastly, Google showcased advancements in its video calling technology, Beam, featuring lifelike AI agents for more personalized interactions. Overall, the keynote highlighted Google’s commitment to integrating AI across various platforms and services.
