Real estate developer and former gubernatorial candidate Stephen Krubeck, 64, faces a felony charge for allegedly threatening witnesses related to his fiancée Adva Ravi’s criminal case. Ravi, a 29-year-old model, is accused of stealing from wealthy individuals across Los Angeles County by posing as a potential romantic partner. Krubeck was arrested on suspicion of attempting to obstruct a witness’s testimony and was released after posting $300,000 bail.
His attorney claims the charges are false, while court documents allege Krubeck made threats against victims and their attorney. Krubeck, who made his fortune in the timeshare industry and founded Diamond Resorts, has a notable history in Democratic politics and philanthropy. He had previously run for governor but withdrew to support Rep. Eric Swalwell, who recently resigned amid controversy.
Ravi, facing multiple felony charges, has not been taken into custody but is under an ankle monitor. Previously, Krubeck’s personal life included a scandal involving an OnlyFans model, who accused him of fraud after he spent lavishly on her during their brief relationship. The latest allegations add to the controversies surrounding Krubeck as he navigates both personal and legal challenges.
