Andrew Morse, a former CNN executive and president of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC), announced his retirement effective June 30, 2023, after over three years in leadership. He is credited with transforming the AJC into a purely digital news outlet and relocating its offices back to Midtown Atlanta. Paul Curran, a veteran of Cox Media and part of AJC’s parent company, will succeed Morse, continuing the newspaper’s digital evolution. During a town hall meeting, Morse highlighted his gratitude for the AJC staff and the community, emphasizing the organization’s cherished role in Atlanta’s storytelling.
