Authorities are treating the case as a double murder rather than a murder-suicide due to the absence of firearms at the scene and no forced entry. The couple’s children, ages 4 and 1, are now with relatives.
Concerns about the couple’s well-being prompted their dental clinic’s owner to call 911 after Spencer missed work without notice. Friends reported hearing the children crying and disturbing noises from the house, leading to police intervention.
