Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, Disney Destiny, was showcased on "Good Morning America," highlighting a unique heroes and villains theme designed to immerse fans in Disney’s rich lore. The ship was officially christened just ten days before its maiden voyage, slated for November 20, 2025, from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Key features include vibrant nods to iconic characters, with themed areas like De Ville’s lounge inspired by Cruella de Vil and the Haunted Mansion Parlor. Guests can enjoy new stage shows like Hercules, featuring a multi-headed hydra, as well as Frozen: The Musical Spectacular and Disney Seas the Adventure. The ship also offers a dining experience called Pride Lands: A Feast of the Lion King, celebrating African cuisine.
For families, there’s the Oceania Club, where kids can train as superheroes under Spider-Man. Disney Destiny will commence a series of four- and five-night cruises to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean, including visits to Disney’s own destinations, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
