In light of recent stricter laws against protests and many members facing legal repercussions, including jail time, some activists are contemplating a shift towards more covert strategies. A new faction is reportedly planning sabotage against fossil fuel infrastructure. JSO’s leadership maintains that their core principles remain, emphasizing responsibility for their actions. While they claim their upcoming protests will be their last, members hint at potentially continuing their activism under a different name with new objectives.
