Carnival Cruise Line has announced enhancements to its Carnival Rewards™ loyalty program for Diamond and Platinum guests who reach these levels before the program’s launch on June 1, 2026.
Christine Duffy, the president of Carnival, expressed excitement about the new program, emphasizing the company’s appreciation for its loyal guests.
Key changes include:
– Diamond status holders in the current VIFP Club® by May 31, 2026, will retain their status until May 31, 2032, and gain lifetime diamond status in the new program.
– Platinum members achieving status by the same date will have their status extended until May 31, 2028, and receive a biennial boost of 10,000 Status Stars, giving them a 20% advantage toward Platinum and Diamond levels in the new program.
Guests under 18 will have the same status as their parents or guardians. Carnival is also exploring options for enhanced benefits for guests in Canada and Australia.
The Carnival Rewards™ program aims to be the first of its kind in the cruise industry, allowing guests to earn points convertible to reward dollars for various travel-related expenses. For more details, visit carnivalrewards.com/change.
