Royal Caribbean Group will launch the Points Choice Rewards Program on January 30, 2026, allowing guests to use loyalty points across its three brands: Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Silversea Cruises. This initiative builds on the existing Status Match program, enabling members to apply loyalty points earned on one brand to another.
Under Points Choice, guests enrolled in any of the brands’ loyalty programs can exchange points using a points table that details exchange rates. For instance, specific suite bookings earn varied points across the brands.
The program aims to provide more flexibility in how guests can use their rewards while encouraging travel across the three brands. Points requests can be submitted via the Royal Caribbean app or website within 14 days of disembarkation. While point-earning criteria remain the same, transferring points to another brand will follow the established rates.
Loyalty programs in the cruise industry, like this new initiative, are designed to enhance guest experiences with perks such as priority reservations and exclusive events. However, changes to loyalty programs can sometimes provoke backlash, as seen with recent controversies in other cruise lines.
