While MTA Chairman Jano Lieber assured board members would be updated, he suggested the briefing might not be public. O’Donnell criticized the disciplinary actions taken, noting only one of the 36 implicated individuals was fired, while others still earn high overtime pay. LIRR President Rob Free defended the process, emphasizing adherence to disciplinary protocols. Despite some resignations, critics argue that remaining employees are still benefiting from their actions, raising concerns over organizational accountability.
