This model is the first 911 convertible to utilize double wishbone suspension in the front, echoing the GT3 Coupe’s performance.
Constructed with carbon fiber-reinforced plastic for weight reduction, the GT3 S/C also offers a folding bucket seat option and has room for only one passenger, making it a two-seater. Powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine, it generates 502 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds.
Priced at $275,350, the GT3 S/C is a more affordable option compared to its coupe counterpart, which exceeds $308,000. Although not a limited edition, it retains manual transmission options. Expected to reach U.S. dealerships this fall, the GT3 S/C stands out in a shrinking sports car market, appealing to enthusiasts who appreciate manual driving and high-rev engines.
