Despite earlier discussions aimed at resolving these issues, including proposed changes to the CAT board’s structure, Commission Chairman Chester Ellis is pessimistic about the success of these efforts, citing a lack of necessary support.
While there was an attempt to create common ground, both Ellis and CAT Chairman Detrick Leggett acknowledge ongoing complaints from residents about inadequate public transportation services. They emphasize the need to prioritize the needs of riders and maintain essential funding to enhance service efficiency.
