Savannah Guthrie is urging her Tucson community to share any memories or details that could help in finding her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie, who disappeared on February 1. In a family statement posted on social media, they believe someone might have important information and called for reflection on events surrounding her disappearance.
Law enforcement has reviewed new surveillance footage from Nancy’s home but found nothing suspicious. Former FBI agent Lance Rising noted a lack of meaningful leads, complicating the investigation. Authorities suspect Nancy, 84, may have been kidnapped or taken against her will, and DNA evidence is currently being analyzed. The Guthrie family is offering a $1 million reward for information leading to her recovery.
While Savannah takes time off from her co-hosting duties on “Today” to focus on her family, Hoda Kotb returned to the show in her absence.
