Asus has officially announced the ROG Swift PG27UCWM, a new 27-inch OLED monitor featuring LG Display’s 4th generation tandem WOLED panel. This monitor boasts a 4K resolution (3840 x 2160), a high pixel density of 166 PPI, and promises improved text and image sharpness due to its RGB striped sub-pixel layout. With a native refresh rate of 240Hz and the capability to reach up to 480Hz at 1080p, it caters to gamers looking for responsive displays.
Key specifications include a 0.03ms G2G response time, 99% DCI-P3 color gamut, and 10-bit color depth, along with HDR support, including Dolby Vision. Although brightness details are not fully disclosed, it is reported to have peak brightness levels reaching 1000 nits in HDR, while maintaining vibrant colors thanks to its RGB structure.
The design features a black finish and includes modern connectivity options such as DisplayPort 2.1, USB-C, and HDMI 2.1. Additional features may include a KVM switch and PiP/PbP capabilities, mirroring those found in previous models. Pricing and availability details will be revealed soon during CES.
