Swisspod Technologies recently unveiled the world’s largest hyperloop test track at PuebloPlex, showcasing their Aerys 1 capsule, which has achieved speeds of approximately 65 mph. CEO Dennis Tudor emphasized the unique, patented propulsion system developed in-house and announced plans for future speed improvements. The test track will eventually encompass 43 acres, representing a significant investment in Pueblo’s economic development.
Local leaders, including Sen. Michael Bennet and Mayor Heather Graham, highlighted the project’s potential for job creation and revitalization of the area, suggesting that Pueblo could become a transportation hub. Swisspod’s capsule is powered by advanced lithium-ion batteries, underscoring the technological advancements driving this innovation.
Visitors expressed excitement over witnessing the project’s progress, noting its transformation from concept to reality. Moving forward, Swisspod plans more test runs and design tweaks, asserting the U.S. will lead in hyperloop technology development.
