Bradley expressed pride in selecting these talented players, highlighting a mix of Ryder Cup veterans and rookies. Burns returns after his 2023 debut, noted for his strong putting and six top-10 finishes this season. Cantlay, making his third Ryder Cup appearance, boasts a solid 5-2-1 record and has secured 10 top-15 finishes this year.
Griffin earned his place with two PGA Tour victories this season and ten top-10 finishes, while Morikawa will represent the US for the third time, having a strong past record. Thomas, with experience in four Ryder Cups, has an impressive 7-4-2 record and has achieved eight top-10 finishes this season. Young, a rookie, recently celebrated his first PGA Tour win at the Wyndham Championship and has performed well in his recent outings.
