The Nebraska Cornhuskers will wear an all-black alternative uniform for their game against USC on November 1st, marking its first appearance in Lincoln since 2007. The new design features standard elements with black replacing red, including a black “N” and white stripes on the sleeves. Fans are encouraged to wear black to create a blackout atmosphere in Memorial Stadium.
This uniform will be Nebraska’s first black look since 2020, and it is part of an ongoing partnership with Adidas, which has supplied the school’s apparel since 1995. Quarterback Dylan Raiola recently signed a NIL partnership with Adidas. Nebraska’s history with alternative uniforms shows a mixed result, with a 7-6 record in them since 2009. The last time they wore a black uniform, they lost to Illinois in 2020.
