This integrated resort, which has been under construction for over a decade and cost over $1.2 billion, showcases the country’s potential to attract tourists.
Cinnamon Life boasts stunning views of the city and the Indian Ocean, with intricate design elements and art throughout the property representing Sri Lankan culture. The resort features 687 rooms, with plans to expand to 800 by mid-2025, and includes multiple restaurants offering various cuisines, a large staff, and numerous amenities like a world-class spa.
The project was initially delayed due to political and economic challenges, but has now become a significant private investment in Sri Lanka.
