Israeli settlers attacked several Palestinian villages overnight, causing property damage, setting fires, and injuring multiple people. Reports indicate assaults in at least six communities, with three Palestinians hospitalized from beatings in Jalu. The violence followed the death of an 18-year-old Israeli settler in a collision with a Palestinian vehicle, which the police are investigating as potentially intentional.
The Israeli military responded to incidents involving settlers’ arson but did not confirm any arrests. Attacks were reported in villages like Silat al-Dhar and Fandakumiya, where cars were burned and residents were assaulted. The escalation coincides with increased violence since the start of the Iran war and Israeli government initiatives to expand settlements.
Additionally, four Palestinians were killed in an Israeli attack in Gaza, with heightened shelling continuing despite a ceasefire agreement established in October. Since the ceasefire, over 670 Palestinians have reportedly been killed in various incidents. The situation remains tense, with ongoing inquiries and no immediate comments from Israeli authorities on the latest attacks.
