Carnival Cruise Line is set to launch its second ship, the Carnival Miracle, from Baltimore in the 2027-28 season, marking the first time the company will operate two ships from this port. Starting in fall 2027, Miracle will join Carnival Pride, which will continue its year-round cruises. The addition aims to diversify Caribbean itineraries for travelers, offering seven, eight, and nine-day voyages to the Bahamas and Eastern Caribbean, as well as longer Carnival Journey trips to destinations like Dominica and St. Maarten.
Christine Duffy, President of Carnival Cruise Lines, emphasized the significance of Baltimore as a homeport for over 20 years and the goal of enhancing customer experience through varied itineraries. The Miracle is expected to arrive in Baltimore on November 20, 2027, following a transatlantic voyage from Italy. The ship will feature an array of dining and entertainment options to cater to long cruises.
