Universal Kids Resort is set to open in Frisco in 2026, offering attractions based on beloved franchises like Jurassic World and Shrek. Molly Murphy, president of Universal Creative, emphasized that the park’s design focuses on childlike curiosity and play, catering to kids’ imaginative experiences.
The resort will feature seven themed lands, including:

- Rides and attractions like Shrek and Fiona’s Happy Ogre After and Swamp Snack restaurant.

Jurassic World Adventure Camp
- Includes thrilling rides such as the Jurassic World: Cretaceous Coaster.

SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom
- Features attractions like Mrs. Puff’s Boat School and Goofy Goobers restaurant.

Minions vs. Minions: Vero Bay Club
- Water rides and themed dining.
- Other themed areas like Trolls Fest and Del Mar Puss in Boots.
The park will have various attractions, including thrill rides, water features, playgrounds, and themed dining. A 300-room hotel will accommodate families and include a pool and fitness center. Part of a larger $10 billion project, the resort aims to create a fun, family-oriented environment. The park is currently under construction and set to open next year.
