Police are investigating a double homicide that occurred in Devil’s Den State Park, Arkansas, where a couple, Clinton (43) and Christan Brink (41), were fatally attacked while hiking with their two daughters, ages 7 and 9. The girls were found unharmed after the incident, which prompted a police response following reports of a possible attack around 2:30 PM.
Authorities described the scene as remote, with no mobile service, and confirmed that the couple was found dead near a walking trail. The investigation is ongoing, with police searching for suspects, described as a white man of medium build, wearing specific clothing and possibly carrying a black backpack. A black four-door sedan may have been involved in the suspect’s escape.
Law enforcement has requested that anyone with potential evidence, such as photos or videos from the park, refrain from posting online to protect the integrity of the investigation. The park remains closed as authorities continue their search for the perpetrator. Arkansas officials expressed their condolences and commitment to ensuring safety in state parks.
