Police in Arkansas are searching for the suspect in the murder of Clinton David Brink, 43, and Kristen Amanda Brink, 41, who were found dead on a hiking trail in Devil’s Den State Park. The couple was attacked while hiking with their two young daughters, ages 7 and 9, who were uninjured and are being cared for by family. Authorities have not revealed how the Brinks were killed and described the suspect as a white male in dark clothing driving a black sedan with a partially covered license plate.
The park, known for its hiking trails, remains closed, and law enforcement is increasing patrols. Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders labeled the incident “terrifying,” and local police, supported by the FBI, are investigating tips and looking for any photos or videos from the area. The Brinks had recently moved to Arkansas from South Dakota, and their community remembers them as caring and selfless individuals. Investigators are awaiting autopsy results to determine the cause of death.
