Hyatt has announced that its joint venture with Grupo Pinero will integrate 22 Bahia Principe all-inclusive resorts into the World of Hyatt loyalty program starting March 24, 2026. Members can enjoy benefits similar to Hyatt’s other all-inclusive offerings, including:
– 5 base points per qualifying dollar for World of Hyatt Credit Cardmembers
– 4 bonus points per qualifying dollar spent
– Credit towards rank status and milestone rewards
– Eligibility for Brand Explorer Awards for free nights
The all-inclusive segment has evolved post-pandemic with improved food quality and resort management. Hyatt has previously expanded its portfolio with acquisitions like the Apple Leisure Group and introduced brands such as Hyatt Vivid.
As other hotel brands like Marriott and IHG also enter the all-inclusive market, the integration of Bahia Principe properties will be closely watched, particularly regarding which World of Hyatt category they will fall into and potential future expansions of Hyatt’s own brands in this space.
