Three of the seven suspects in an Alabama child trafficking ring, Rebecca Brewer (29), Sarah Louise Terrell (41), and Ricky Terrell (44), will remain out of custody following a recent bond hearing. They are scheduled for a preliminary hearing on August 21st. Allegations against them include severe sexual abuse of children, with specific charges of sexual torture and trafficking. Brewer, a mother of four of the ten identified victims, faces multiple counts of sexual torture, while Ricky Terrell is charged with raping a 10-year-old girl. The alleged abuses took place in an underground bunker, where children were reportedly drugged and abused by multiple individuals. Authorities have identified serious misconduct, with indications that the operation generated significant profits. The investigation began after concerns regarding child sexual abuse were raised in February. The Department of Homeland Security is involved due to potential links to organized crime in sex trafficking.
