Breeze Airways, which began operations on May 27, 2021, has expanded its fleet to 53 aircraft, primarily consisting of Airbus A220-300s and Embraer models. The airline carried 4.4 million passengers from February 2024 to February 2025, ranking as the 11th largest airline in the U.S., despite capturing only 0.5% of domestic traffic.
As of May 30, Breeze plans to operate from 70 airports across the U.S. for the remainder of 2025, with aspirations to reach 150 airports by 2030, potentially including international destinations. Recently, it introduced new routes, such as Salisbury, Maryland, and removed three airports from its network.
Orlando will be the primary departure hub, with 2,852 planned departures by year-end and 33 routes, many of which have limited competition. Charleston and Raleigh/Durham are also key airports for the airline. Breeze’s growth has been particularly notable in Orlando, with increased service compared to last year.
