XR Cambridge spokesman Zoe Flint criticized politicians for breaking promises related to climate goals while acknowledging the increasing oppression faced by environmental activists. The event was part of a larger mobilization with groups like Greenpeace and radical community activists. Future discussions will occur at the upcoming UN Climate Summit (COP30) in Brazil.
