An incident involving anti-Semitic signs at Barstool Sports in Philadelphia has escalated into controversy. Signs reading “F-Jews” were discovered, leading to a viral backlash. Dave Portnoy offered one of the accused men, Mo Khan, a trip to Auschwitz as a way to engage with the Holocaust’s history, but this offer was later rescinded.
Khan, who claimed Portnoy sensationalized the situation, described the signs as “an edgy joke” and accused Portnoy of unfairly portraying him as responsible. He also expressed that he’s the true victim, having faced suspension from university, lost an internship, and received death threats.
Portnoy, countering Khan’s claims, labeled him as a “flat liar” and accused him of trying to profit from the incident. He stated that Khan had initially claimed ownership of the sign before shifting blame. The situation has drawn attention from the Philadelphia police, who are investigating the matter further.
