JetBlue Airways is set to expand its transatlantic routes in 2026, adding seasonal flights to Milan and Barcelona from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). Flights to Barcelona’s Josep Talladeros El Prat Airport (BCN) will commence in mid-April, while services to Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) will begin in early May. This expansion marks JetBlue’s sixth consecutive year of growth in European destinations, bringing its total to eight cities and nine airports since launching transatlantic services in 2021.
JetBlue plans to offer daily flights during spring, summer, and early fall, using Airbus A321 aircraft equipped with Mint suites. Passengers booking Mint cabins will have access to a new lounge network set to open in New York and Boston. The airline also plans to resume earlier routes to Dublin, Edinburgh, and Madrid in April and May. Despite this rapid growth, JetBlue’s President indicated that significant expansion may slow until they receive additional aircraft by 2031.
