Authorities in Love County, Oklahoma, have identified two sets of human bones found as those of Molly Miller, 17, and Colt Haynes, 21, who disappeared in 2013. The pair was last seen on July 7, 2013, after being involved in a police chase. They called a friend the next day saying they were lost, but vanished shortly afterward, with their car found abandoned two weeks later.
The bodies were discovered on February 18, 2026, during a search of over 1,000 acres based on new information. The area had not been previously examined. Miller’s identity was confirmed by a medical examiner on March 31, while Haynes’ identification date remains undisclosed. The cause of death is still unknown, and the investigation into their deaths is ongoing, with authorities pursuing all leads.
Molly’s cousin expressed relief at the discovery but shared concerns about possible foul play, indicating the family seeks justice and answers about the circumstances of their deaths. The case is set to be presented to a multi-county grand jury for potential formal charges.
