Renowned forensic artist Lois Gibson has released a sketch related to the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, based on surveillance footage showing a masked figure outside Guthrie’s home in Tucson on February 1. The FBI has expanded its search with digital billboards and a $50,000 reward for information, noting that time is critical. Guthrie, 84, was reported missing, with her blood found outside her residence and a ransom demand for $6 million in Bitcoin made to media outlets.
Gibson, who has retired from the Houston Police Department, utilized visible features from the masked figure to create the sketch. Her extensive experience includes helping identify over 751 criminals. The investigation continues as authorities urge the public to examine the footage for identifying details.
Guthrie’s daughter, Savannah, has actively promoted her mother’s case through social media, emphasizing the family’s commitment to finding her. She acknowledged the ransom note and has expressed hope for her mother’s safe return.
